CWD Cruise Day Two
Coco Cay, Bahamas
December 30, 2003

[ Report Intro | Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 ]

It was an early day for families who chose to sign up for morning snorkel and parasailing excursions. Tender service (the small boats ferrying people from the cruise ship to the island) began at 8:30, and CWD families were on it! The ship emptied by 10 a.m., with just a few families remaining on board poolside to enjoy the peace and quiet. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, with temperatures hovering around 80. Sunscreen was passed all around, and each family enjoyed their own chosen activities, including a beachside BBQ. By late afternoon, everyone was back on board and ready to enjoy some pre-dinner activities. CWD kids particularly enjoyed the Sports Deck, which included a basketball court and several ping pong tables, all outdoors with a great view of the ocean and a wonderful sea breeze. The Shipshape Fitness Center offered some challenging activities for those wishing to keep to their exercise routines, and several CWD parents were seen heading for the spa! After dinner, the kids enjoyed hanging out ... and many of the teens finished off the evening with an 11 p.m. movie.
