This will be Francis Ott's fourth year working with Children with Diabetes and would like as many children and parents to attend this year's class. Since the last time Mr. Ott was with The CWD in Los Angeles, he was nominated United States Team Coach. Last October Fran and two of his own students earned spots on the U.S. National Team. They traveled to South Korea for two weeks to compete in the largest competition Taekwon-Do has to offer. Over 40 countries sent their best students to compete in the event. Both of his students went on to win two bronze medals and one gold medal. This is the second time Fran has been on the U.S. Team. The first time was in 1999 when he earned a spot by winning the U.S. national championship in Odessa, Texas and went on to compete in Buenos Aires, Argentia. This year Fran is bringing some of his students to help with the class and to give the best demonstration to date.
