Back to the 2009 conference report 2009 Friends for Life Report - Saturday

On Saturday, families had several options. The morning began with a Magical Memories Breakfast for those who wanted to experience a Disney character breakfast right on site at the hotel. Disney princes and princesses were on hand to sign autographs and take photos, and there was a beautiful and delicious breakfast buffet, including an omelet bar and Mickey waffles!

While many families boarded the chartered buses and headed to Magic Kingdom for the day, others chose to visit other Disney parks, including Epcot and Animal Kingdom. It was an extremely hot and muggy day, and by dinnertime, many families were back at the Coronado Springs Resort cooling off in the pool or enjoying a beverage by the lake. In the cool of the evening, quite a few families headed back to the parks to enjoy the fireworks and late park hours.

Wherever one looked in the parks, there were the bright orange and white t-shirts. CWD. Friends for Life.
