Bayer Diagnostics is doing it again!
For the third year in a row, Bayer has graciously agreed to sponsor a FREE event for children with diabetes and their immediate families. In 2000 it was the Colts games. In 2001 it was the Indianapolis Zoo. This year it's going to be an Indianapolis Indians game!
Sunday, July 14th
Victory Field in Downtown Indianapolis
Game Time 2:00 p.m.
Not only will Bayer be providing FREE tickets to the game, they'll also providing a FREE catered lunch for all who attend. For those who have not yet made the switch, you'll receive a Glucometer DEX meter from Bayer as well.
The game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. but you'll need to arrive early enough to pickup your tickets and enjoy lunch. Also, if that's not enough, it's Cap Day and the first 4,000 in attendance get a FREE baseball cap!
If you'd like to join us at the ballpark, just email me with your child's name & age, your home phone number, and the number of tickets you'll be needing. I'll also need the names and ages of those children in the family who do not have diabetes. Again, this event is limited to immediate family members only.
I'm sending this to each of you in hopes that you not only join us but also help spread the word. There's a limited number of tickets available so, if you plan to attend, please respond to this email as soon as possible. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
It's sure to be a great day and I do hope that you can join us for a day of fun at the ballpark! We've got lawn seats so we can all interact and the kids can run around and play and maybe even catch a homerun ball! So be sure to bring your blankets and gloves.
Please note: Confirmations will be not be sent out immediately. We'll be waiting until all of the tickets are given away which will also allow us to firm up the time that everyone will need to be at the ballpark to pickup the tickets and get information on what the catered meal will consist of.
Hope to see you at the ballgame!
