From the UK:
Where can I get information about international and national diabetes meetings, especially the scientific ones with an interest in nephropathy?
Check with your local hospital's or medical school's librarian to arrange to look at the listings that are in the back of most scientific medical journals, such as Diabetes Care or the kidney journals or whatever. The librarian may let you wander through the stacks, or give you photocopies of the listings.
If the librarian won't respond to such a request, ask a doctor who's on staff at a hospital that has a library to ask for you.
