From Pennsylvania, USA:
I recently read in a generic health magazine about a lady taking the new Humalog insulin by mouth. As far as I know, this article was not supported by ADA or anything. Could this be possible? As far as I know it only comes in vials like all of Eli Lilly's other insulins and is drawn into a syringe.
One of our patients brought in the article. It would appear to be a reporter's error in choice of wording, when viewed in context.
