From University Heights (Cleveland), Ohio, USA:
Understanding Insulin-Dependent Diabetes recommends that parents purchase foil-wrapped Ketostix, but I cannot find any. Pharmacists and drug reps don't seem to know anything about them. Do you know of a source? Mail-order is fine.
Miles Diagnostics makes foil-wrapped Ketostix in packages of 25. Most mail order pharmacies should carry them. The only reason for them is to be sure they stay fresh (since they're used infrequently in most cases). If you can't get hold of them, the kind in the vial will work just fine, provided they are stored properly.
