I noticed in a previous question you indicated there were environmental factors that contributed to diabetes. Would you please indicate references?
We've discussed this issue before, and given nine references, in a previous answer. You may also want to refer to the article entitled "Etiological aspects of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus: an epidemiological perspective" by Dahlquist G., Department of Pediatrics, University Hospital, Ume~a, Sweden, in Autoimmunity 1993;15(1):61-5.
