From Virginia, USA:

I was recently reading an article in the newspaper that discussed whether or not diabetics should administer shots and check blood glucose in public. What is your opinion or advice on this?

My personal feeling is that injecting in public is fine, much like breastfeeding. Bathrooms are filthy and are not an option. We have always given my daughter injections in public -- at the mall, at amusement parks, wherever, and have not once been confronted by anyone.
