From Kentucky, USA:

I've had diabetes for 27 years and am 5'8" tall. I weigh 128 pounds and have weighed this since I was 13. Is this normal? Is there any way to gain weight? Everyone kids me all the time about it.

Just wait until after you're 40 or even 50 and you'll beg to look like you do now.

Now to answer the question. I expect with some dietary advice and a bit of training, weights etc. you probably could add muscle mass. You certainly don't want fat.
