From Ontario, Canada:

My girlfriend of 22 has diabetes, and she frequently has high blood sugar levels. Is there a point where too much insulin can do harm?

People with diabetes balance insulin in order to try to keep blood sugar at a level that is neither too high or too low. Too much insulin can make the blood glucose too low. Insulin does not do other harm, in the sense of your question, however.
