I have a 10 year old son with diabetes. He experiences rebounds in the afternoons. I feel this is because of his inability to recognize low blood sugar condition. Could you please send me some information?

I would suggest you two practice blood glucose awareness training: guess the glucoses and then test. Record any symptoms.

I think over time you will be able to teach him to notice some of the symptoms of lows.
