Will there ever be a diet to cure diabetes like the one they have for epilepsy? The one for epilepsy controls the seizures.


There is no dietary cure for epilepsy but some forms of the disorder can be helped by using a so called ketogenic diet which is high in fat. The underlying problem remains unchanged. Similarly, a healthy diet assists in the control of blood sugars in diabetes. There will never be a 'curative' diet because the basic problem is lack of insulin. Sorry to pour cold water on your hopes.
