My nine year old daughter has had typeá1 diabetes since she was two years old. She gets this pain in her left side of her stomach that is so bad she can't move, but by the time we get her to the hospital it's gone. Have you ever heard of any such thing ? The doctors won't do anything about it.


Assuming your daughter's symptoms are unrelated to her blood sugars (and it's highly unlikely that she's hypoglycaemic (and you don't know) then she is probably constipated. This is by far and away the most common cause of such symptoms in all children.
