From the United Kingdom:
My friend needs to know how to adjust insulin injection when traveling to America.
This is a difficult question to answer properly without knowing the kinds of insulin your friend is on and at what times, as well as the actual flight schedule and estimated (UK and US) time of arrival at the final destination. He should give these details to his endocrinologist and ask for instructions. Have him also look at Traveling with Diabetes.
