Question: From Portsmouth, Virginia, USA:
I am a firefighter/ paramedic and my department uses oral glucose in our medical bags. What are the pros and cons of using the gel-based oral glucose versus the quick-dissolve tablet form of oral glucose?
Answer:
Gel is absorbed from the mouth, cheek and stomach so it's clearly easier to get in.
