Question:

From Elkins, West Virginia, USA:

If Dr. Faustman's research in phase 1 human clinical trials turns out promising and the clinical trials continue, do you know how long it would take to complete the different phases of the clinical trials and make the product available to diabetics?

Answer:

My guess is that it would be five to 10 years from phase 1 trials to human trials.
