From India:

It is indicated that infections and systemic inflammation are related to hyperglycemia and insulin resistance. As such, how does the taking of NSAIDs or other anti-inflammatory agents and antibiotics affect glucose levels and insulin resistance?

There is currently a trial underway, Targeting INflammation Using SALsalate in Type 2 Diabetes (TINSAL-T2D), using salicylates to treat insulin resistance.
