My name is Marissa and I have had diabetes for 25 years. I was diagnosed when I was 2, got a pump when I was 11, got a sensor when I was 20, and they both make my life much easier!
I work as a diabetes nurse educator, am married to Adam, and have a wonderful son. At CWD conferences, I am one of the teen group leaders and Adam is one of the tween group leaders.
I also love to travel, practice my Spanish, salsa dance, and play with our dog, Baxter.
