Hi! My name is Megan Yoerger, also known as "Angemy" on the net.
I am 18 years old and live in Adelaide, South Australia. I finished my final year of high school last year and I am now in tertiary education at TAFE doing a Multimedia Course. I want to get into graphical and website design once I have finished my course and maybe venture into graphical interfaces for games as well.
I have had diabetes since I was 3, which means I have had it for about 16 years, sometimes I find it rather difficult and annoying to live with and wish it would go away, but it won't so I am have gotten on with my life and I try not to let it stop me doing the things I love.
I have one sister, her name is Leona and she is 22 years old. We have one cat called Chino and he is the coolest - a bit lazy but very cool.
I love listening to music and watching movies and science fiction shows. I really get into creating 2D animations in Flash in my spare time and fiddling around with websites and graphics as well. I also love chatting on the Internet on MSN Messenger, and sometimes in the Children with Diabetes chat rooms. I have met many good friends in the Children with Diabetes chat rooms. I meet my friends, Nicole and Dani, as often as we can for a chat it is great fun. I met Nicole when I first logged on to the Children with Diabetes website about 10 years ago and we still meet every week which is fantastic!!
If you would like to know more about my family and me, have a look at the Yoerger Family webpage. We have links to some sites that have pictures and information on Adelaide and the rest of Australia, if you are interested.
If you want to see what I have been up to over the past year and see some of my work I have created then please visit my personal website at: http://www.users.on.net/medalero/angemy. Please take a look at the site and let me know what you think!
I would love to hear from you, it is probably best to email me and then perhaps we can arrange a time to chat, because the time differences between Australia and the rest of the world can make it hard to meet up. My email address is
