My name is Rock Black and I am only four so my mom is writing this story for me. I have had diabetes since I was two. I was still in diapers and my mom and dad thought something was wrong with my diapers because they leaked all over. In fact, they even took one package back to the store and asked for their money back. No one knew that I had diabetes until I kept wetting everywhere and woke up in the middle of the night asking for water, and I don't even like water. Finally, the doctor did a blood test and diagnosed me with Type 1 diabetes. After two years it is still difficult, but controllable. My mom and dad would like to e-mail other parents who have a young diabetic son or daughter.
You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
