When I got diabetes I was 7. It was in 1997. I've had diabetes for almost a year. My mom and dad help me. I've had a hard time getting my sugar to be right. I don't like pokes. It is hard to have to get snacks in time. But I'm glad we found out. I feel better and like plain old me again! I still have fun!!! My birthday is in June. I think a lot about how I have to do things sometimes that I don't like because of the diabetes. I have goofy dreams at night. I am sometimes pale. I have a book about diabetes.
