My name is Ramon DeJesus. I am 10 years old. I'm going to be in the fifth grade at Dudley School. I have diabetes. I was diagnosed when I was 2 years old. I give my shots by myself 2 times a day. I take my blood tests 4 times a day. My fingers hurt from when I take blood tests. Sometimes I feel scared because my brother and my cousin jump on the sofa or everywhere when I am taking my shots and the needle could break. Now I have a nurse who comes to my house. I had to go to the hospital before because I was sick. They were nice there and I got better. I didn't know that so many kids have diabetes like me. I liked reading their stories on the computer.
