My name is Zackery Thibodeaux and I am 3 years old so my mom is writing this story for me. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes July 20, 1997. I was only 15 months old. My mommy knew something was wrong with me because all I wanted to do was drink water and eat all the time. My mommy took me to the doctor and he diagnosed me with Type 1 diabetes.
My mommy and daddy were devastated at first. The doctors taught my mom and dad how to take care of me. Now were doing great. We still have our ups and downs or highs and lows but we do just fine.
We would love to hear from parents of other children with diabetes. We receive email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
