My name is Carlitos, I am 4 years old and live in Miami, Florida. I was diagnosed just a couple of months ago (June 2001). I started to wetting my bed every night and lost a lot of weight. My mom and dad took me to the hospital and I had to stay there 4 days. They were very very sad, but now we are very happy again.
I'm doing pretty well. Diabetes does not stop me. I love to ride my bicycle, play baseball and soccer. I have a little brother (he is just 10 month old). We love each other and I'm waiting for him to grow up so we can start riding bicycle and practicing sports together. I also love music and my dad is teaching me how to play piano.
I would like other kids to send me e-mails and pictures. My e-mail address is Carlitosfriends@yahoo.com.
