Hi my name is Carolyn and I am 15 years old. I live in California. My hobbies are dancing, swimming, softball and hanging out with friends, talking on AIM, talking on my cell phone, but mainly I love to dance. This is my 8th year. My favorite colors are baby blue, baby pink, baby yellow, and baby purple. I love to listen to music, and my favorite bands/singers are: Good Charlotte, The Ataris, New Found Glory, Linkin' Park, Wezzer and so many more, but those are my favorites! I have so many more!
I was diagnosed on October 7, 1999 with Type 1 Diabetes. I just got a pump, and I love it! I can eat what I want, I just have to program in what to take! If you have any questions about the pump, feel free to e-mail me!
I never thought this would happen to me. I went to the doctor because I was always drinking and going to the bathroom, and I couldn't go to sleep. When I finally got to see my doctor, he ordered a blood test and a urine sample. The tests came back and they found out my blood sugar was 800! So another doctor was called. Dr. Aquino put me in the hospital for four days. I hated it there! But I'm doing a lot better now. I would love to e-mail any of you that have gone though the same thing. I have met lots of friends through this, and I hope you guys do to!
Please, if you have any comments, or questions, or want to be e-mail pals, my e-mail is
HaPpYgoLuCkY145[@]hotmail.comand my AOL instant message is HaPpYgoLuCkY145 and peachydweeb. IM me anytime! Hope to hear from ya! Love Carolyn!
