How often do you or your child see an eye doctor as part of your diabetes care?
Poll dates: March 14 - 21, 1999
Total Votes: 592
People with diabetes are at risk for developing diabetic retinopathy. A diabetes care plan that helps keep blood sugars as close to normal as possible can help reduce the risk of developing retinopathy. Yearly eye examinations are recommended for children 12 or older who have had diabetes for at least five years.
