Delivery of health care services is being impacted by the growth of the Internet, just like other businesses. In recent years, more and more diabetes teams have begun to use e-mail as a tool to communicate with their patients. For non-emergency business, e-mail can be very convenient, for both patients and diabetes teams. In this poll, 35% of people report using e-mail to communicate with their diabetes team.
