How do you usually obtain your insulin?

Poll dates: February 11 - 18, 2007
Total Votes: 534

Amost two-thirds of CWD visitors report obtaining insulin from a local store -- 56% from a local pharmacy, and 8% from a local discount store such as Wal-Mart, essentially the same as in 2005 and 2006. Of the remaining visitors, 29% report using a mail order or online pharmacy to obtain their insulin. For those who use mail order:

  • 45% (79/174) use mail order to save money
  • 17% (30/174) use mail order for convenience
  • 37% (65/174) use mail order because their insurance makes them

Because temperature extremes can damage insulin, we're interested in hearing from mail order users about their experiences with mail order delivery of insulin.
