Does your diabetes team let you choose which diabetes care products, such as insulin pumps, CGM systems, and meters, to use?Poll dates: October 5 - 12, 2016

With considerable scientific evidence supporting the use of an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitoring system, more and more people with type 1 diabetes are using pumps and sensors. And, thankfully, there are multiple companies that make both pumps and sensors. We asked our readers if they could choose whichever product they wanted.
The good news is that 72% of our readers felt that their diabetes care team allowed them to choose whatever product they felt best met their needs without interference. But 20% reported that their diabetes care team had strong preferences for a particular brand.
These results are similar to last year's poll on this topic.
