What do you or your child most often use to treat hypoglycemia?

This year, about half (49%) our readers report treating hypoglycemia with juice, soda, or milk. Commercial glucose tablets are used by 15%, the same number who . We're not sure what the 17% "other" is.

A study published this month (October 2016) addresses the question of what should be used to treat hypoglycemia, and glucose tablets win. See Dietary sugars versus glucose tablets for first-aid treatment of symptomatic hypoglycaemia in awake patients with diabetes: a systematic review and meta-analysis and Glucose tablets likely better for easing low blood sugar symptoms.
