Back to Rufus Ruby Visits the Schroder Family

The Schroder Family, Buffalo, Missouri

Today we went to the newspaper for an interview about my diabetes and Ruby. We even got a picture taken! The article will be in next week's paper. I think Ruby had fun. Now, we are on our way to a youth rally for the Meet You At The Pole prayer thing tomorrow. We will write about that when it is over.

To finish off yesterday's - Ruby had fun at the Youth Rally we went to yesterday. We learned what it means for the See You At The Pole day. After that, we had refreshments and pop (diet). It was yummy. Today at school (this morning) Ruby and I prayed at the flag pole. We prayed for the safety of our school and for a kid in my school who just found out that morning his brother died in a car accident. It was sad because he was well-known around school.

September 19 - October 1, 2002
Well, we're sending Ruby to the next family. We really haven't done much since the 19th. We just laid around, watched tv, and I took her to school a few times. We have had fun! God Bless!
