The Anderson Family - South Africa
Wednesday January 5, 2005
Rufus came to stay with our family from the middle of December 2004. He stayed for such a long time as it has been Christmas and New Year and Jane said that he could stay a bit longer than usual as Kirsty, who is my diabetic daughter was taking a long time to make friends with him. Kirsty is nearly 13 and has been diabetic since March 2001. Unlike Rufus, she now has a "pump" for insulin delivery and so does not need to inject herself. She does still have to test her sugar very often.
Tomorrow we are passing him on to his new family.
