I got Rufus today. My Mom and I went to fetch him from Bruce (10). We had time to get to know each other. We went to our Praise and Worship at church and Rufus and I had a great time. We've just had our injection and Mom said we must go to bed now.

Today Rufus and I went to school, (Brackenfell High). He met some of my friends from Grade 8 to Matric. At first we enjoyed it, but as you know, Matric boys - they can be VERY rude. This one girl was rude, but we forgave her. After school we took a nap, but we were interrupted by the family. (They are very loud!) We went to see John Banza at our church. He is very nice and comes from a far land, I think Zimbabwe. We listened to him for 21/2 hours, but it was great. We learned more about God. COOL! We are very tired now and there is a very long day ahead tomorrow.

Rufus and I were separated today. I went to school and Rufus had a fun day at Sanlam with my Mom. Everybody loved him being there. A little girl came to play a little. He had stax of fun. Mom and Dad went for pancakes at a friend's house, so Rufus went with them. I went to a party and to church to listen to John Banza. Rufus says the pancakes are very yummy. We are going to bed now. It was a long day! Gud night!

Today was a busy day for Rufus and me. We slept late this morning. We went for a bath and then we rode the scooter and went to visit my friend. My friend's Mom would not let Rufus go. I had to beg her. But he enjoyed every minute. For supper we went to my Aunt's house. It was her birthday. We had soup, (Veggies & Mussels). Rufus likes the mussels more. Me too! He fell asleep at 22:00, so we made our way home. Now it's off to bed. We are having a great time.

It's Sunday today and Mother's Day. I think Rufus misses his Mom. We went to church and met all the little ones. They loved having him there and Rufus enjoyed every second of all the attention. I took Rufus to meet my Grandma. She gave him lots of love. I think he likes her. We watched a little TV and now it's off to bed. Zzzzzzzz

It was a quiet day. We went to school in a rush 'cause we first took a picture of Rufus, my sister and me. We did not do much at school. When we came home I went to my extra math's class and Rufus went along too. For him it was boring. He did not understand. After that we ate supper and went to bed. My Daddy came in and took pictures again. We finished reading and went to seep.
13 May 2003
Today was again a very quiet day. We went to school and when we came home Rufus had to stay with my sister because I had to go see a Reverend. Now I have to study because I'm writing a test tomorrow and then it's off to bed.
14 May 2003
I went to church tonight to have a conversation with people from our church. Rufus stayed with my Mom. We went to bed early.
15 May 2003
Rufus went to Sanlam today so we didn't see each other. When I came home at 5 I had to go again to the girl who's going to make my Matric farewell dress. When I returned we had supper and went to bed, (Rufus said he was very tired).
16 May 2003
We had to get up early today because it was school. Rufus went along and everyone said goodbye. Tonight he went with my Mom to visit my Aunt and the family. Everybody, including Rufus, had a great time.
17 May 2003
Rufus decided to spend a quiet day at home with my Mom. I had dance practice and after that, in the evening, we went to see a movie, and Rufus went with my Mom again. I went to sleep over at my friend's house.

Today we have to say goodbye to Rufus. He is going to visit my friend in Stellenbosch. Rufus, I had a lovely time with you. Keep up the good work. I gave you my 'What Would Jesus Do' bracelet for a reason, and this is for everyone: Spread the word of God! That bracelet can change lives. God loves you and everyone! Rufus, Thank you. I love you S.T.A.X. I hope you enjoy the rest of your tour. Be good and kind.
