The Mabin Family - Noordhoek, Cape Town, South Africa
Lisa went to collect Rufus from Rondebosch on the way to take her Granny to the airport. Lisa was very thrilled to have a new diabetic friend!! Rufus settled in very well, enjoying all the attention with Lisa and her special friend, Michaela. After bedtime checks Lisa and Rufus went to sleep!
Rufus joined Lisa at pre-primary school. All the kids enjoyed Rufus very much, so Lisa decided to take Rufus along the next day too!! Lisa taught the kids at school all about her and Rufus' diabetes and they were very proud of them and all got a treat!!
At home Rufus and Lisa enjoyed a good healthy lunch and Mum came home from work early and much fun was had by all!!
Lisa and Rufus said goodbye and he went on to Wellington. We all so enjoyed his stay and hope he can come again!!
