The Dominguez Family, Miami, Florida
Hurray, Rufus arrives to sunny Miami, Florida to visit my brother, Xzavier (18 months) and me (Zachary, 5 years old). Xzavier was diagnosed in March 2003 and I was diagnosed in September 2002.
They were so excited to find Rufus with their presents and immediately put their Quilt for Life shirts on!
Zachary enjoys Tae Kwon Do with his instructor. Rufus also has fun in class.
We took Rufus on vacation in Key West. Zachary and Rufus went to the beach and had lots of fun in the water! They also enjoyed a day at the pool with Rufus all day long. They all went back to the apartment to check themselves before lunch. They are all low, so they have a big snack, including Rufus, who had a blood sugar of 70. I guess all the fun and excitement made them a little low! After that, we all enjoyed going to eat crab legs at night. Rufus had two plates of crab legs - he really liked them!

We all said goodbye to Rufus and wish him the best! We love you, Rufus. Hope you can come visit us again! Good luck and take care. Love always,
The Dominguez Family
