March 17, 2003
Rufus arrived in Isanti, Minnesota today. Amanda and Ruby are so happy to have him for a visit. Ruby came to cheerleading with me and he received a lot of attention from all the girls!
March 18, 2003
Today was Rufus' first day to go to kindergarten with me. We had art and library. Rufus helped me paint a picture and he picked out my library book. His favorite time was recess; all the kids thanked him for coming.
March 19, 2003
Today Rufus came to daycare. All the kids liked playing with him. My Grandma Nancy came for a visit so Rufus received a few extra hugs and kisses!
March 22, 2003
My mom, Rufus, and I went to see the Piglet Movie. Rufus enjoyed it and he ate a lot of popcorn. Tonight we picked up my Grandma Nancy and my brother Derek. They went to Washington, D.C. We were so happy to see them.
March 23, 2003
Today Grandma Nancy went home. Rufus was sad to see her go. I learned how to ride my bike without training wheels, and Rufus rode in my basket. We both ended up with some bumps and bruises, but my mom fixed us both.
March 24, 2003
Went to the endo today. My A1c was a little high, but the doctor said not to worry since I just started pumping. The endo checked Rufus and said he was doing great! Today my spring break starts, so we will have a fun week. We went to Daisy Scouts tonight and Rufus had so much fun!
March 25, 2003
Went for my dental check up today. I got my teeth cleaned. The dentist checked Rufus and said he had great teeth!
March 26, 2003
Took Rufus to the circus; his favorite was the monkeys. We went on a pony and elephant ride.
March 27, 2003
Took Rufus to dance class tonight. He had fun dancing with m,e and all the girls thought he was cute.
March 29, 2003
We went and worked with my dad for a little bit today. Rufus had fun helping out. My cousing Cheyenne came over and the three of us played. Rufus likes to hula-hoop.
March 30, 2003
Today is my last day with Rufus. I really enjoyed having him here for two weeks and will miss him! Thank you for coming for a visit. Good luck in your travels and I hope you bring as much happiness to all the other children you visit as you did to me!
