Rufus Arrives In Canada At The Oringer Family
Justin, Marla, Cory, And Robert
Rufus arrived in Montreal, Canada on a beautiful day. He forgot to bring his ice skates, but we still had a lot of fun. Instead of skating by himself, he came to see our hockey games by travelling in our smelly hockey bags. We think Rufus enjoyed being next to the hockey gloves and shoulder pads. In fact, when we took him out of the bag, he was wearing a helmet! While staying at our house, Rufus learned to count carbs. He ate many Nutri-grain bars and got to try our famous KamShing chicken with mixed vegetables.

Rufus came to visit Victoria, dx at 18 months old. she is very good friends with Justin Oringer and they will be in school together next year. Victoria was so excited to meet Rufus the "BOY" bear because she already has Rufus the "GIRL" bear. They quickly became friends, the bears and Victoria. They spent the day together playing, checking their blood sugars, and even stayed around for a snack. Victoria was low. Rufus is in a hurry to move on now because he is leaving tomorrow on a trip to another part of the province. In the short time Rufus was here, we got to know him quite well. We hope that he will come back and visit our family again soon.

Rufus arrived at our house at dinner time last night. We did not really get a chance to spend time together because my grandparents just arrived home from their vacation. This morning when I woke up I took Rufus out of his box and up to my room to play with my hot wheels. After that I took Rufus with me to McDonald's for breakfast and then to the library to watch an Arthur video. When my Dad said that it was time to go, my sisters Alexandra and Victoria and I left to go home. When we got home Rufus wanted to go for a bike ride but I had to explain to him we could not go because it was raining. He was very sad. Rufus has to leave us very shortly, so before I send him off I am going to play some hockey with him. I had a great time and I think he did too. Good bye Rufus I hope we meet again.
