The Williams Family, Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada
10 July 2001
Rufus made his way down to Smiths Falls, Ontario, to participate in the Bobby Orr/Mike Fair Golf Tournament to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. Bobby was extremely excited to meet Rufus. After a long day of golf and meeting many new friends Rufus traveled back to Ottawa, Ontario to meet up with Carolyn Williams. As Rufus arrived in the night it wasn't until early the next day that Carolyn and Rufus met.

Rufus had a busy day with Carolyn at daycare. After his tests, and medicine (applied by Carolyn), Rufus ate a great supper. Carolyn ensured he ate healthy. Caorlyn and Rufus both had good "numbers" today. After supper, it was off to visit the Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP) horses. Here, Rufus and Carolyn had the pleasure of meeting, "GENERAL," one of the unique RCMP horses. Shortly after, Rufus had a ride on one.
At about 7:30 Carolyn introduced Rufus to what Carolyn believed was his Dad, also a big supporter of JDRF. (Picture included with big bear). At around 8pm Carolyn and Rufus both ate their snack packs for the evening, prior to bed.
Tommorrow rufus leaves for Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Its been a great visit. Please check out Carolyn's Diabeteszone for more pictures of Rufus and Carolyn. Bye Bye Rufus, we'll miss you.
