Well, Rufus arrived to Massachusetts safe and sound. Kaitlyn was so happy to finally get Rufus! When she finally got the box opened we had fun reading all Rufus' key chains. Rufus has been so many interesting places! When Mom got home from work, we (and Rufus) went out around our neighborhood selling girl scout cookies. Kaitlyn had fun explaining to everyone about Rufus' travels. Everyone thought Rufus was GREAT! After our walk we checked Kaitlyn's and Rufus' blood sugar, 96! After dinner and homework we all got ready for bed. Rufus is going to 2nd grade tomorrow! Good night!

Good morning, Rufus! Rufus and Kaitlyn slept well last night, they snuggled all night together. After a good hearty breakfast Kaitlyn and Rufus are off to second grade at Saint Margaret School. What an exciting day they had. They played at recess, ate lunch, and played some more. Rufus got to meet the other 3 kids with diabetes at Kaitlyn's school. All the kids loved him. Well, we had a relaxing night, getting rested up for our exciting weekend!

Today we had a busy day. Kaitlyn's cousins Cailin and John came over for a visit and to meet Rufus. They all had so much fun playing with Rufus. After a fun filled day we drove Cailin and John home. It's off to bed as we have another busy fun day planned tomorrow.

Rufus and Kaitlyn had another great night sleeping. Blood sugars have been great since Rufus arrived. Well, today it is off to Brownie-Try-It-Day. Rufus and Kaitlyn had fun today with all the girl scouts, the decorated a t-shirt, made hair clips, and they made American flag necklaces. BUSY day, Rufus and Kaitlyn were both very tired after such a busy day.
