Hi, I'm Lauren.
When my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes, I can truly say that Children with Diabetes saved my sanity. I had so many questions and CWD had the answers. CWD also opened the doors for my daughter and me to meet other families facing the same challenges.
We are part of a growing community that is connected online and comes together at conferences around the country. But there are so many more families out there that CWD can help.
Up to now, that wasn't possible with Jeff's small staff and limited resources. That has changed and I'm thrilled.
As the leader of a CWD elementary programming, I am especially excited about reaching more kids and expanding the number of Friends for Life conferences.
Just as my daughter is growing up, so is our CWD community.
Wishes do come true. Today, we can all celebrate an exciting future for CWD as part of Johnson & Johnson.
