    Our son, Bryce is 2 1/2 and was diagnosed at 9 months. Bryce has three friends in the neighborhood that all get together and play throughout the week. When Bryce needs a check, I go to him with the kit and he stops for a minute while we do our business. One day while waiting for the meter reading, I glanced up and his three friend were all standing their with their fingers out to be checked too! Talk about moral support!

  13. Families in the Cincinnati area are need for a new study on Type 1 Diabetes and Depression: A Study for Teens and Their Families.
  14. Please add yourself to the T1D Exchange, a new not for profit project that we hope will become the largest type 1 diabetes study ever. Parents should answer the survey questions for their child.
  15. Researchers at the Medical University of South Carolina are looking for teenage drivers with type 1 diabetes between the ages of 16-19 and their parents to participate in an online study about how diabetes affects driving in teens.
