Immerse yourself in a supportive community of world-renowned faculty, adults, children, and families living with diabetes – including siblings and children of adults with type 1 diabetes. This incredible weekend offers enriching educational sessions with cutting-edge diabetes management ideas, engaging discussion groups, and a platform to share your own story while motivating and supporting others who walk a similar path.
Registration
Registration cost for all ages: $150
Every conference participant needs to register for the conference. Registration is $150 per person. Registration will increase to $250 per person on February 20, 2025.
Note: You must register for the conference and book your hotel room. Registration for the conference does not include your hotel room.

Cancellations prior to February 20, 2025, will be refunded minus a $25 per person processing fee.

FFL Scholarships
Scholarship Applications are Open!
A Friends for Life Arlington 2025 Scholarship includes:
- One hotel room at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel (accommodating up to four people in the room) for two (2) nights (arrive Friday, depart Sunday), and
- Conference registration for up to four (4) people.
Transportation expenses, including any parking expenses, are not included. Costs for additional people and other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Attendees will also be responsible for any meals not included in the conference.
Recipients must be willing and able to provide a personal payment method at check-in for any incidental charges. The hotel may put a hold on this card that will drop off after check-out. Please prepare accordingly.
Our scholarship program is designed for individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to attend FFL without our support. You will be asked to submit your most recent W-2 and paystubs to verify financial need.

Sessions for adults and children begin at 9:00 am and run all day. Carb counted Opening Keynote Breakfast and lunch buffet will keep you well fed. Visit exhibitors from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Carb counted breakfast buffet starts the day off right, followed by sessions all day for parents, adults, and kids. Fond farewells at the end of the day.
Why We Wear Green + Orange Bracelets
The bracelets? They were a mix of necessity and practicality, sprinkled with some pretty significant magic. Attendees who wear green bracelets are living with type 1 diabetes, everyone else—their parent, guardian, spouse, significant other, friend, etc.—wear orange bracelets. But the “magic” is what these green and orange bracelets have come to mean. The magic has been added by this green and orange – and sometimes yellow – amazing international tribe, tens of thousands of people strong, over a span of twenty years.
