They will discuss what laws and policies protect people with diabetes, how to sign up for services, and more tips for leaving home with confidence.

Having diabetes means that we rely on health care providers for our prescriptions, access to technology, and our overall health. Join our panel of PWDs - Kyle, Katarina and Taylor, and health disparities researcher Dr. Ananta Addala, along with moderator Phyllisa Deroze, PhD, to learn about what disparities are seen in diabetes for BIPOC and possible solutions. This will be a space for open, honest discussion with the goal of feeling empowered and connected to others in the community who know what you are going through.
