Advocacy in College

Moving away to college is a huge step in becoming an independent adult, and bringing diabetes along for the ride adds some specific concerns. Whether you are a young person with diabetes or someone who loves someone with diabetes, Matt and Leigh can help you learn how to navigate campus with diabetes. They will discuss what laws and policies protect people with diabetes, how to sign up for services, and more tips for leaving home with confidence.

This will be a space for open, honest discussion with the goal of feeling empowered and connected to others in the community who know what you are going through.
