First Timers Orientation
Sponsored by Dexcom
We’re excited to welcome our FFL First Timers to this year’s event! This session includes an exciting presentation from Patrick Mertes and Michael Shelver, who set out to summit the highest peak in each of the 50 states and complete the entire expedition within 50 days. Since first attempted in 1966, only 274 people have successfully made it to the top of all 50 high points – most do so over the course of their lifetime – no one with T1D has achieved this feat. Until now. Join us as they share the story of this BIG adventure. Our FFL First Timer staff also will be on hand to answer questions about conference logistics and any other concerns you might have, so please join us for this inspiring and informative session.
