Spicy Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup nut or seed butter (use sunflower seed butter for any nut allergies)
  • ¼ cup honey or sugar of choice
  • cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (can substitute rice vinegar)
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (or sriracha) (add more if you want it spicy!)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • cup water

Instructions
 

  • Combine nut butter and honey, then microwave for 10 - 20 seconds (to make the combination easier to stir).
  • Add remaining ingredients except water and stir until combined.
  • Add water 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached. You may need more pending on the thickness of your sauce.
  • Storage: Store in a tight-lidded jar in the fridge for up tp two weeks. Enjoy on noodles, chicken/tofu, vegetables!
