We are thrilled to announce that Children with Diabetes is back as a participating charity for the 2025 Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend.

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by type 1 diabetes.

At Children with Diabetes, we are dedicated to providing support and resources to those living with type 1 diabetes. Our organization is committed to empowering individuals and families, helping them navigate the journey of diabetes with confidence and resilience. When you register to run with TeamCWD, you not only secure your spot in the 2025 Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend but also contribute to our efforts to provide care today while we await a cure tomorrow.

Funds raised through this event will help fund scholarships to CWD's flagship event, Friends for Life Orlando. Friends for Life Orlando is the world's largest conference for families and individuals living with diabetes which takes place every year at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

It is important to note that to receive the official runDisney® registration link, your specified fundraising minimum must be met by December 30, 2024. We encourage all team members to start fundraising early and take advantage of the resources and support we offer. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of people with type 1 diabetes.

Fundraising amounts include your race bib and registration:

• Disneyland® 5K - $600
• Disneyland® 10K - $700
• Disneyland® Half Marathon - $800
• Disneyland® Dumbo Double Dare Challenge (10K and Half Marathon) - $1,000

Benefits of running with TeamCWD:

• Guaranteed race bib in the 2025 Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend
• TeamCWD swag box to include TeamCWD shirt (to be sent upon reaching fundraising minimum)
• Fundraising coaching and tools from our Director of Advancement and Programs

You will pay your bib fee at the time of registration and we will put that entire amount towards your fundraising total to help kickstart your fundraising! Please keep in mind that failure to meet the fundraising minimum will result in the forfeiture of your bib. We understand that circumstances may arise, but the bib fee and all fundraised money are non-refundable.
