Over the course of the last few decades, diabetes device technology has taken huge leaps forward in terms of accuracy, wearability, and its ability to improve quality of life.

... but that doesn't mean wearing a device on your body 24/7 is easy. And the results from this week's CWD poll show that diabetes device breaks are important for some families.

Taking a breather from your diabetes device can be helpful, especially if the device is contributing to frustration or diabetes distress/burnout.  Sometimes taking a break feels good, or it reinforces how the device helps you live better, or illustrates the need to re-learn some diabetes basics ... or a combination of all of these things.
