We all know that diabetes management comes with a lot of supplies, and the waste from those supplies can really add up.  Some diabetes waste, like the boxes and paper inserts, can be recycled, but things like CGM insertion devices and insulin pump infusion sets can’t be tossed into a recycling bin.

Our CWD family does what they can to mitigate the waste.  Lots of recycling is happening in our community, and there are donations happening, too.  A lot of people are saving everything but have no idea what to do with it (we have some ideas, though!), and there are folks who are just tossing things into the garbage.

We have ideas on how to recycle, or upcycle, your diabetes supplies, so please check those out, and if you have something you'd like to share with out community, let us know!!
