Question from Nassau, Bahamas:

Are there schools specifically for children with diabetes in Central Florida?

Answer:

From: DTeam Staff

I know of no schools for children with diabetes in Florida. Most private and many public schools actually do a reasonably good job with children with diabetes. It’s getting better every day, and we’re pushing for all the kids

LD

[Editor’s comment: It is unclear from your question whether you are referring to schools for public or diabetes education. There are several diabetes centers in Florida that deal exclusively with children, including the one at which Dr. Deeb works.
